when treating eczema, would it help by putting a bandage over the affected area after applying ointment?
my 10 yr old has very Bad Eczema on his elbow and is waiting for an apt w the dermatologist but in the meantime was given an oral intibiotic, ointment and cream…would it be safe to wrap a bandage to “keep the affected area moisterized”?
Not at all. You should not cover the area with anything. Air contact is needed for the healing process.
